Microfiber
- Microfiber is a synthetic fiber blend made of 75% polyester and 25% polyamide.
- The materials are bundled together to split into ultra-fine single fibers.
- The splitting process breaks down each fiber into a very thin strand approximately 1/10 the size of a human hair.
- When woven together, these strands create a surface covered with millions of spaces between the fibers that are able to trap moisture, dirt and debris.
- Microfiber can absorb dirt and liquids six to ten times its normal size.
- Microfiber has not only proven to reduce time and energy in cleaning, but it is also environmentally friendly and does not requires the use of chemicals.
- Microfiber is incredibly fine with a denier of less than 0.03, A single strand of silk is 8 denier and a human hair is 20 denier; that fact makes this fabric softer than the finest silk.
- As the microfiber is divided in minute fragments by the finishing process, the softness increases and can protect human skin.
- 1728 multi-level open the filament gauze composition, high hydrophobic porous design instantaneous water absorbing force to use the 3M moisture absorption perspiration, to enable this product enhancement absorbing water potency, to achieve fast does the effect.
- Is big after Japan and chemical industry joint-stock company authenticates this product to have the antibacterial effect.
Care Instructions
Taking care of your microfiber products is pretty easy, there are just a few things that you should remember to keep your products effective and long lasting. You can wash and dry your microfiber products in your household washer and dryer, with warm water and low heat.
To keep your microfiber "like new":
- Do not use Bleach
- Do not use Fabric Softener
-
Do not wash with other cotton products.
- Microfiber products do not like bleach, bleach breaks down the polyester and polyamide micro-filiments, rendering them less effective.
Fabric softeners provide a layer of "softeness" on your clothing, which is nice for clothing that you wear, but this coating clogs the microfibers, rendering them less effective.
It is not that microfiber products do not like cotton products or other fabrics, it is that when you wash your cotton products with microfiber the microfiber products grab and hold onto the lint that the cotton produces. So if you do not want your microfiber towels to lint then you should not wash them with cotton products.
